Our most popular variety has returned, Buckwheat.

This is our second season of harvesting Buckwheat as the first proved how magnificent of a variety it is. We had never sold out of a variety before and the heat to have it return was constant and lovely to see. We’re over the moon that it is now available again and hope that this year’s harvest is everything you’d dreamed it be!

Buckwheat honey oozes character and brilliant flavour with its hints of chocolate touches of toffee and molasses. Naturally dark honey with hints of red, Buckwheat is a warm variety that will sweep you away and make you feel like you’re cosy by the fire just from its dance on your taste buds. Not as sweet as other flower varieties, Buckwheat is loved by those who enjoy a deep flavour profile.

Our Buckwheat is only available while stocks last, and if last year showed us anything it’s to get in swift!

We harvest our honey and immediately return it to our commercial kitchen in Sassafras to spin, pour and pack. No heat treatment and only course filtered once means you experience Tasmania’s honey in its purest and finest form, Raw. Our honey varieties are collected from the Tasmanian Wilderness across rolling lands from Strahan to Smithton seasonally. Please note, what is available this season may not be the next.
