Manuka is also known as Tea Tree found in the North West/West of Tasmania which we harvest from one of our managed sites.

Manuka is not known for its taste, rather its super food qualities. The Manuka honey has significant value in a clinical setting where it can be used to beat superbugs and promote healing. Leptospermum flowers and the bioactive fraction of MGO contained in the nectar of Manuka flowers are the key driving force behind the antibacterial effect of Manuka honey. Scientists have tested Australian Manuka honey for these unique Manuka markers and found them in abundance.

We harvest our honey and immediately return it to our commercial kitchen to spin, pour and pack. No heat treatment and only once course filter means you experience Tasmania’s honey in its finest form, Raw.

All of our varieties are collected from the Tasmanian Wilderness across rolling lands from Strahan to Smithton.
